We’re looking for a resourceful, adaptable, and high performing Vice President of Marketing Operations to maintain responsibility for marketing and creative delivery, for both the Eyes On Eyecare organization and Client Accounts, while building and maintaining the operational framework that powers these two critical functions. You’re an accomplished Vice President of Marketing Operations with a strong background in marketing, operations, and organizing and managing large teams of managers and independent contributors. What will you be doing?

You will be responsible for the macro level strategy, management, and coordination of team members for all brand, product, and client marketing. This includes responsibility over budget, resource allocation, prioritization, results, & analysis.

You will work closely with our team of Directors, VPs, and Chief-level team to develop and implement strategy and drive growth across the company’s core KPIs and will report to the organization’s Chief Operating Officer.

Marketing Operations Management

  • Develop & maintain all systems used by the marketing and creative teams to prioritize and deliver work-to-be-done.
  • Develop & maintain budgets for the marketing team, & approve budgeting procedures for external spends on client delivery.
  • Ensure excellent communication, project management, and overall performance between the Client Services and Marketing Teams through efficient meetings, retrospectives, and data based analysis.
  • Clearly discern between high-quality and low-quality work and set and maintain the highest standards for your team.

Marketing Strategy

  • Oversee brand decisions, and brand continuity across all delivered assets.
  • Strategic decision-making for growth across all new areas of company development.
  • Strategy, work delegation, and reporting for newly acquired brands and special projects.
  • Manage and support market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data for short- and long-term market forecasts and reports.

Team Management & Creative Delivery

  • Develop & grow a high-performance team, and directly manage marketing and creative directors.
  • Make critical personnel decisions across the marketing & delivery functions.
  • Oversee the user database and responsibility for ensuring clean, up to date data across all files.
  • Ongoing responsibility to determine and define project approaches, scope, and objectives, capacity planning, and managing resources in an effective and efficient manner

What are the required qualifications?

  • 10+ years of professional experience, with the last 3-4 in a senior leadership capacity at a digital publication or creative agency.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Experience managing the full life cycle of projects.
  • Strong background in operations management, change management, and a successful track record in mentoring other leaders in these areas.
  • World-class analytical skills with the ability to draw intelligent and actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Comfortable working with ClickUp & Hubspot.
  • Intuitive about how to use and present data to both executive leadership and independent contributors to inform marketing decisions.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, campaign management, and the creative process.
  • Able to provide examples of cross-functional integrated programs or campaigns you have managed.
